La Brea Tar Pits...

The usual crew of the Adventure Group hit up the La Brea Tar Pits today!  I haven't been in so long it felt like I had never been!

We wandered the museum, watched a little show, had lunch then wandered the park.  I of course also did a bit of geocaching! 

It was a perfectly lovely day with my lovely friends!

Artist Date Orange Circle Photo Play Day...

I'm in the process of doing The Artists Way again - which you can read about the entire process here if you wanted.  The quick of it is - Once a week I'm to take myself on an Artist's Date - it's a date by yourself with your inner creative.  Today I decided to walk to the Orange Circle and play with the effects on my camera and here's the results!

The rusted colors caught my eye and the Paint setting worked awesome!
